METHOD FOR CONTROLLING REPEATER OF BASE STATION IN MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a repeater of a base station in mobile telecommunication system is provided to terminate the operation of the repeater, if there is no signal detection. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether standby state entry information is received from a terminal modem or not before the end of the total test reference time(S40). If the standby state entry information is received from the terminal modem, a repeater maintains the operation state(S50). If the standby state entry information is not received from the terminal modem, the operation of the repeater is terminated(S60).
