PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and an information providing method thereof are provided to supply various service related to a corresponding person through face recognition. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(180) extracts a facial region form an image displays on a display picture, and displays at least one kind of an information item which indicates the information which can be related to a person of the extracted face region. A touch screen is loaded in correspondence to the display screen, and the extracted face region is selected from the image displayed on the display screen through the touch operation on the touch screen. |
