PURPOSE: A back light assembly and a display device thereof are provided to reduce the size of the leaking current occurred between the outer-most lamp and an carrying box by arranging a second electrode of a lamp which is located in the outer-most layer among a plurality of lamps than a first electrode to a side wall of the carrying container, thereby improving brightness uniformity of a backlight assembly by improving brightness deterioration in the outer-most layer. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of lamps(121,122,123,124) are accepted in the accepting container(110) and are bent to have a first and second electrode(H1,G1) on one side of the accepting container. Also, the lamps are arranged to a second direction which forms a right angel with a first direction by expanding to the first direction. A transformer outputs operating power to the first electrode of lamps and the second electrode of the lamps is grounded through accepting container. At this time, the second electrode of the outer-most lamp which is located in the outer-most layer among the lamps is arranged to a side wall of accepting container which is nearer than the first electrode. Therefore, the size of leaking current which occurred between an outer-most lamp and an accepting container is reduced.
