CATHETER BUTTON HUB

A catheter hub including a first port and a second port fluidly communicating with the first port through a first conduit. The first conduit turns at an angle of greater than approximately 135 degrees between the first port and the second port. The hub also includes a third port fluidly communicating with the second port through a second conduit that similarly turns at an angle of greater than approximately 135 degrees between the third port and the second port. Further, the hub includes a fourth port fluidly communicating with the second port and is generally co-axial therewith. A catheter assembly that utilizes the catheter hub is also disclosed.
