PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting the residual amount of liquid is provided to accurate detect the residual amount of the liquid in a syringe and minimize time required for discharging the liquid by including a first flowing path and a second flowing path. CONSTITUTION: Liquid remaining detecting apparatus. A pressure supplying unit(60) supplies a pressure into syringe(52) filled with liquid. A first flowing path(80) connects the syringe and the pressure supplying unit and transfers a pressure in order to discharge the liquid. A second flowing path(100) connects the syringe and the pressure supplying unit and transfers a pressure in order to detect the residual amount of the liquid. The second flowing path is longer than the first flowing path. Switching units(101, 102) switches the first flowing path and the second flowing path. A pressure discharging unit(70) and a pressure sensor(90) are additionally installed.
