PURPOSE: A protective film is provided to ensure high transparency, ultraviolet absorption, weather resistance and flexibility and to maintain high adhesion of a laminated film although ultraviolet ray is irradiated. CONSTITUTION: A protective film includes a plastic film and a coating layer formed on the surface of the plastic film. The coating layer is obtained by dispersing core-shell type zinc oxide particles into a binder containing a compound with an average composition expression of R1mSi(OR2)nO_(4-m-n/2). The average particle diameter of the core-shell type zinc oxide particle is 50 nm or less and the shell thickness is 1.5 ~ 20 nm.
