PURPOSE: An extraction method of collagen from shark skin and meat is provided to obtain acid-soluble collagen and pepsin-soluble collagen with excellent elastase and tyrosinase inhibitory activity. CONSTITUTION: An extraction method of collagen from shark skin and meat comprises the following steps: washing the shark meat, and adding sodium hydroxide for homogenizing for 5~30hours; stirring and filtering the homogenized shark meat, removing alkali soluble non-collagen protein, and washing the residual alkali with distilled water; applying a sodium hypochlorite solution to the shark meat for bleaching, and washing the obtained material with distilled water; and applying citric acid to stir-extract for 2~5days, and centrifugal separating. |
