PURPOSE: A switch method between an infra network and an adhoc network is provided to maximize the usage rate of a wireless bandwidth by converting a link for infra allocated to a mobile terminal which breaks away the infra network into an adhoc network operation. CONSTITUTION: A base terminal sends a broadcasting message for a infra network operating to a MS(Mobile Station)(S210). According to a break away of a specific mobile terminal, a base station broadcasts a conversion command to an infra network and an adhoc mixed network(S230,S235). If terminal N cannot receive a conversion command during a predetermined time, terminal N transmits data through an adhoc network(S240). If terminal N attempts to rejoin the infra network, the base station broadcasts a conversion to all mobile terminals(S250~S270).
