FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of extracting a stream of carbon monoxide (CO) gas as a product from a stream of initial substances mainly consisting of hydrogen (H2) and CO is realised by separating the stream on a cryogenic gas-separation installation, cooling it through indirect heat exchange with heated process streams and single-step partial condensation with subsequent low-temperature fractionation of the CO rich and H2-containing condensate in a separation column, with the latter separated a separator from the H2 rich and CO-containing gaseous fraction, by evaporating and/or heating cold separation products and compressing CO gas to pressure of the end product. Liquid CO is removed from the boiler of the separation column and undergoes multistage expansion, where after each partial expansion a stream of CO is split into a gaseous fraction and a liquid fraction, a portion of which is fed to the next stage of the multistage expansion. The other portion of the liquid fraction is evaporated and the entire gaseous fraction is only heated in the heat exchanger through indirect heat exchange with cooled process streams and is fed into a compressor or directly into the stream of the obtained CO in gaseous state. ^ EFFECT: high cost effectiveness. ^ 21 cl, 1 dwg |
