FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operated subterranean gas storage. Pump gas in and out, set of wells is used consisting of, at least, two wells. Note here that each of said wells relates to one layer of storage P1-PN via which appropriate well communicates with gas storage wherein gas is kept under pressure. Gas flow speed in each well is set proceeding from preset magnitudes. Proposed method consists in that preset magnitudes (S1-SN) are set so that difference in gas hydraulic pressure pF1-2, pF2-N, Pfn-1 in set of wells 21-2N is reduced to minimum.
