FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to the field of metal plastic working and may be used to make section elements. Proposed method is implemented on using the device that comprises, at least, two clamping sections arranged opposite each other, one to clamp first lengthwise side of metal element in place and another to clamp second lengthwise side of metal element in place. Note here that said second lengthwise side of metal element stays opposite the first lengthwise side of metal element. Each clamping section is arranged on support element that moves apart said clamping sections on moving metal element forward, in fact, perpendicular to metal element displacement. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency and simplified design. ^ 30 cl, 24 dwg |
