The assembly (10) has a metallic piece (14) connected on a base piece (12) i.e. bumper skin, and an assembling unit (18) integrated to the metallic piece, where the assembling unit assembles the metallic piece on the base piece. The assembling unit has a rod (50) projected from the metallic piece, and a lug (52) deformed by folding with respect to the rod. The lug is fixed against a retaining surface (28) defined by the base piece. The lug is transversally projected with respect to a rod axis.
