PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article acquiring game device which can easily change the arrangement position and the size of an article placing part in an article storage part, can change the position and the size of an article dropping port, and can easily change a layout inside the article storage part. SOLUTION: The article acquiring game device is provided with an article acquiring part 30 which is disposed inside the storage part 3 in a movable manner, a moving means for moving the article acquiring part 30, the article placing part 25 which is disposed inside the storage part 3 for placing the articles, the article dropping port 35 which discharges the articles acquired by the article acquiring part 30 to the outside, and a control means 100 which controls the operation of the article acquiring part 30 in response to information input by operating parts 13X, 13Y operated by a player. The article placing part 25 is equipped with a first article placing part 21, and a second article placing part 23 attached the first article placing part 21 in a retractable manner, and the article dropping port 35 is defined in accordance with the retractable movement of the second article placing part 23.
