<p>The invention relates to a mechanical digital display by segments, characterised in that said display includes: a first member (1) including a first pattern (3; 15) including so-called "vertical" segments (a-d; m-p) positioned in a predetermined direction and defining two opposing sides of the pattern (3; 15), and so-called "horizontal" segments (e-g; q-s) positioned orthogonally to the predetermined direction, each one of said sides being defined by at least two vertical segments offset relative to one another, both in the predetermined direction and orthogonally to the predetermined direction, a second member (4) including a second pattern (6; 16) including interrupted tracks (k; t) respectively associated with the vertical segments (a-d; m-p) and elements (k; v) associated with the horizontal segments (e-g; q-s), and in that: the first and second members (1; 4) are stacked so that the first and second patterns (3, 6; 15, 16) overlap, - the first and second patterns (3, 6; 15, 16) are arranged so that the overlapping areas thereof are visible for the user and the areas thereof that do not overlap are invisible or less visible, and the first and second members (1, 4) can be moved in relation to one another in the predetermined direction in order to successively display different characters by means of different overlapping configurations of the first and second patterns (3, 6; 15, 16).</p> |
