<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a genetic structure which is non-sensitive to pH in cells, emits red light capable of being specified with a filter or the like and having the maximum light wavelength of ≥620 nm, hardly or never damages the cells, and enable imaging in each cell for a long time, and to provide a transformed cell, especially a transformed human cell. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the variant luciferase obtained by mutating wild type luciferase, emitting red light having wavelengths of ≥620 nm, and having a larger emission intensity than the wild type luciferase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
