<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface illumination light source device which uses a point light source with high directivity, prevents uncomfortable glare, and provides illumination light having uniform luminance distribution, and to provide a surface lighting system. <P>SOLUTION: The surface illumination light source device includes: a point light source with high directivity; a box-shaped housing in which the point light source is fixed in the center of a bottom, a side wall is erected at a predetermined height from the bottom, an opening is formed at a side opposite to the point light source, and an inner wall surface is formed of a reflection member; and a light conducting reflector which covers the opening of the housing and of which the circumference is fixed by an edge of the opening of the housing. The light conducting reflector is formed of a plate-like body including a center light conducting reflection part at an opposite side to the point light source and an outward light conducting reflection part at the periphery of the center light conducting reflection part. A plurality of light conducting parts vertically passing through the light conducting reflector are formed in the outward light conducting reflection part. A gap between the light conducting reflector and the bottom is gradually narrowed from the edge of the opening of the housing toward the center light conducting reflection part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
