<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid dynamic pressure bearing thinned and capable of rotating a shaft stably, and a motor and a recording medium drive device that use the fluid dynamic pressure bearing. <P>SOLUTION: Dynamic pressure producing grooves, drawing operation fluid when a shaft body 16 and a support body 22 are rotated relative to each other, are formed in a thrust surface of a thrust bearing section 39, the grooves being formed from the inner peripheral edge and outer peripheral edge toward a radially intermediate section of the thrust bearing section 39, the thrust surface facing a circular plate section 35 and a come-off prevention section 33. At least one through-hole 48, penetrating in the axis direction of the shaft body, is formed in the thrust surface where the dynamic pressure producing grooves are formed, the through-hole 48 being in a range from the inner peripheral edge side in an annular region of the thrust surface to radially more inside than the intermediate section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
