<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being unable to accurately grasp a durable state in a puncher because sagging of a die sometimes occurs earlier than in a using limit described in a manual when the number of copies, or the number of sheets processed at a time is huge and a using frequency is high as in a POD center and in a puncher having various using methods, such as paper types, and a difference in the number of sheets which are punched at a time, when the number of the sheets is just counted. <P>SOLUTION: The puncher includes: a means for discriminating a mounted die by a sensor; a means for previously assigning a unique ID to each die; a means for specifying the ID of the mounted die; a means for previously making a printer store a durability coefficient information table including durability coefficient information for each die; a means for specifying a corresponding durability coefficient table from the ID of a die to be used; and a means for calculating the degree of consumption of the die on the basis of user setting and the durability coefficient table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
