<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make future use states of consumables almost equal among a plurality of devices. <P>SOLUTION: The management apparatus 10 acquires the total number of prints and the number of prints in a unit period from each of four multifunction machines. The management apparatus 10 calculates the number of remaining prints by subtracting the total number of prints of each multifunction machine from the number of prints for which an ink jet head should be replaced in each of the four multifunction machines. The management apparatus 10 generates replacement information 100 indicating a change from a position of the multifunction machine having the number of remaining prints, which is the M-th order (M is integer values of 1 to 4) in the descending order to a position of the multifunction machine having the number of prints in the unit period, which is the M-th order in the descending order.
