PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an electronic device, etc., capable of generating stuck images by simple processing. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an optical system for image-forming an object; an imaging element for capturing an object image image-formed by the optical system; a read control part for controlling the read of imaging information obtained by imaging by the imaging element; and a motion information acquisition part for acquiring motion information which is at least one of the translation movement information and rotational movement information of the imaging apparatus. The read control part detects the overlapping region R12 of the frame image region F2 of this time and the frame image region F1 of the previous time on the basis of the motion information, and reads the imaging information of an image area FN2 excluding the detected overlapping region from the imaging element.
