PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability for changing a configuration so as to be suitable for a color space used by an external display. SOLUTION: In a color adjustment device, a target value table TBLtrgt stores a plurality of target values corresponding to a plurality of representative colors. An L-adjustment circuit 82 and a C-adjustment circuit 84 and an H-adjustment circuit 86 adjust the brightness, chroma and hue of an original image by referring to the plurality of target values stored in the target value table TBLtrgt. When an external display is selected as a display device, an image output circuit outputs image data including the adjusted brightness, chroma and hue to the external display. A CPU detects a color space that is used by the external display considering the described color adjustment processing, and configures the size of the plurality of target values stored in the target value table TBLtrgt corresponding to the detected color space.
