PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection accuracy of the descent position of a squeegee, a scraper and a like which are set in parallel to the printing table surface and to execute efficiently the detection work by enabling the parallelism detection even when plate frame setting. SOLUTION: The detection devices 10 for detecting the lower ends of the squeegee 2 and the scraper 3 to become in parallel state against the upper surface of the printing table 6 using a squeegee vertical movement mechanism 7 which positions, by moving up and down, the height position of the squeegee 2 and the scraper 3 of the screen printing machine, are arranged in plurality on the detection adjustment part along the longitudinal direction of the squeegee 2 and the scraper 3. The detection device 10 includes a base block 11 attached on the detection adjustment part, a detection device 12 which is attached on the base block 11 through an elastic shock absorber 13 so that the lower ends of the descending squeegee 2 and the scraper 3 contact and depress the elastic material down, and the detection sensor 14 which detects the depression of this detection device 12.
