PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink and a junction type heat sink exhibiting an excellent heat radiating property and promoting weight reduction. SOLUTION: The heat sinks 2, 3 are used to dissipate heat generated from an emitter. The heat sinks 2, 3 include substrate surface parts 20, 30 disposed on the emitter side and heat radiation parts 25, 35 of rugged structures formed on them, respectively. The substrate surface parts 20, 30 and the heat radiation parts 25, 35 are formed by folding an aluminum alloy plate made of a 1000-system or 6000-system aluminum alloy. The junction type heat sink 1 is configured by joining together these two heat sinks 2, 3 acting as a pair of mirror bodies which are in mirror symmetrical relation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
