PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of voice communication to the outside if voice is outputted from the speaker of a voice communication device. SOLUTION: A face outline is extracted from an image photographed by a camera, and ear positions are estimated based on the extracted face outline. In addition, a distance between the device and the user is also estimated based on the face outline. Based on the ear position of the user and the distance between the device and the user, the voice output range of a communication partner is controlled.
