PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein there is possibility that a plunger may unintentionally come out by separating attraction between a permanent magnet and the plunger when impact force or vibration force at a designated or more level is acted to a circuit breaker. SOLUTION: The circuit breaker has an operation handle which performs switching operation of an electric route between an ON and OFF state, and a tripping device for tripping a trip bar when the electric route trips. The tripping device is provided with an actuator which operates the trip bar and is moved in a direction separating from the trip bar by interlocking with an operation of the operation handle to an OFF state, the plunger attracted with a magnet device, and a latch connected to the actuator and restraining movements of the plunger and turned in a direction where the plunger is pushed to a magnet device side, by interlocking with the movement of the actuator in a direction separating from the trip bar.
