PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific configuration of a lens driving device, capable of driving a lens in an optical axis direction and correcting a camera-shake. SOLUTION: The lens driving device, having an approximately quadrangular shape when viewed from the optical axis direction, includes: a movable member 2 which is movable together with the lens; a stator holding the movable member 2; and a driving mechanism 4 for driving the movable member 2. The driving mechanism 4 includes: a first driving coil 11 wound around the outer circumferential surface of the movable member 2; four first driving magnets 12 arranged at four corners of the lens driving device respectively and facing the outer circumferential surface of the first driving coil 11; and second driving coils 13 and second driving magnets 14 arranged between the first driving magnets 12 adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction of the lens driving device. The second driving coil 13 is wound and formed in an air core shape, and the second driving magnet 14 is formed approximately like a plate. The second driving coil 13 and the second driving magnet 14 face each other in a direction substantially perpendicular to the side surface of the lens driving device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
