METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DEVELOPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a developer having homogeneous particle size without using an organic solvent. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the developer has a possess of atomizing toner material particles by passing dispersion liquid through a high voltage homogenizer device having a nozzle part having an orifice part. Dissipation energy E is expressed by 1.0×1013≤ΔP×u/(2.5d)≤5.0×1014(J/m3s). Here,ΔP is difference (Pa) between pressures in front of the orifice part and in the orifice part, u is flow rate (m/s) in the orifice part, and d is orifice diameter (m). COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
