PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize cable demolition performance by optimally controlling a temperature of an aggregate core and a resin temperature in molding of a sheath coating. SOLUTION: In manufacturing an optical cable, an aggregate core 10 where a coated optical fiber is stored in a groove of a grooved slot and a rough wrapping string is wound around an outer circumference of the slot and an upper wrapping tape is wound around an outer circumference of the rough wrapping string by rolling-up is coated with a sheath by extrusion molding of an extruder 13. A heater 12 preheats the aggregate core 10 at a prescribed temperature calculated on the basis of the resin temperature in extruding the sheath, and then, the sheath is coated.
