PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing device and a method of processing paper sheets capable of improving paper sheet aligning accuracy by changing the pressure to be applied to a load point to change the conveying force, and to provide an image forming device, an image forming system, a method of forming images, programs and recording medium. SOLUTION: This paper sheet processing device includes: a conveying means for conveying paper sheets by receiving paper sheets delivered in order from an image forming device; a paper sheet sorting means for aligning the paper sheets in the cross direction thereof by shifting the paper sheets in a first direction crossing the conveying direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction, pressing the paper sheets; a paper sheet delivering means for conveying the paper sheets aligned in the cross direction thereof by the sorting means to a delivery opening to deliver the paper sheets shifted to the first direction and the second direction per a predetermined number of paper sheets; a paper sheet loading means for receiving the delivered paper sheets to load them. The paper sheet sorting means maintains the force for pressing the paper sheets at a predetermined pressure in the case of shifting the paper sheets to the first direction or the second direction.
