PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front pillar structure obtaining sufficient vehicle body rigidity and reducing shock to an object collide with at a collision between a front pillar and the object. SOLUTION: A pillar panel outer 7 is arranged between a front window panel 2 and a side door 3. A pillar panel inner 8 is arranged oppositely to the vehicle width direction inside of the pillar panel outer 7 to section and form a closed section 4a between the pillar panel inner 8 and the pillar panel outer 7, and is connected to the pillar panel outer 7. A reinforce inner 9 is connected to the pillar panel inner 8 in a surface contact state with a surface of the pillar panel inner 8 to reinforce the pillar panel inner 8. Plate thickness of the pillar panel outer 7 is set to be thinner than the sum total of a plate thickness of the pillar panel inner 8 and a plate thickness of the reinforce inner 9.
