<p>The invention relates to an ATBM load and a method for activating said load comprising a fagot of metallic barrels (20), a central sector of the fagot (20) comprising an energetic material (14) for generating a deployment of the barrels in an axisymmetrical mode, a set of energetic sectors (E2, Ei, En) surrounding the fagot, and a device for activating the ATBM load, characterised in that the method comprises at least the following steps: detection of the position of the target (C) in relation to the load; determination of at least one active energetic sector (E2) from the set of energetic sectors surrounding the group, for projecting the entire fagot towards the target, the other sectors of the set of energetic sectors being inactive energetic sectors; expulsion of the inactive energetic sectors from the set of energetic sectors that do not project the fagot towards the target in such a way as to distance them from the load; activation of the active energetic sector generating the projection of the fagot (20) towards the target, without disorganising same; and activation of the energetic material (14) in the central part of the fagot after a period dT following the activation of the active energetic sector, in order to deploy the barrels (12) axisymmetrically and to destroy the target.</p> |
