<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for diagnosing risks for vascular system diseases, heart diseases and the like which might occur because of endovascular reasons, by measuring endovascular atherosclerotic plaques ingredients, which is useful for diagnosing the diseases. The apparatus and the method of the present invention comprise a constitution for setting an area covering from outerperipheral boundary of catheter to lumen of a blood vessel as an inspection area and for measuring ingredients of atherosclerotic plaques, instead of a step for figuring out endolumen of a blood vessel which is used in a conventional measuring method.</p> |
