PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for transmitting a frame in a wireless system including a relay station are provided to transmit a frame in consideration of a midamble for a relay station. CONSTITUTION: A BS(Base Station) sets up a frame including an access zone and a DL(DownLink) relay zone(S510), and the DL access zone transmits a signal to an RS(Relay Station). The DL relay zone transfers a signal to the RS or a terminal, and the BS transfers the frame(S520). The DL access zone includes an MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) midamble for the terminal, and the DL relay zone comprises an R-amble which is an additional MIMO midamble for the RS.
