<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a high turning response when car speed is large and high response is required, and to improve suppression of deterioration in durability. <P>SOLUTION: The steering control device includes: a torque command value computing section 61 for calculating a torque command value based on the difference between a target turning angle and an actual turning angle of turning wheels 11L, 11R; a turning command current computing section 62 for calculating a driving current value based on the torque command value; turning current distribution computing section 63 for distributing the driving current value into first and second motor driving current values for driving first and second turning motors 32, 43, respectively; first and second turning motor ECUs 60, 70 for controlling the drive of the first turning motor 32 based on the first motor driving current value as well as controlling the drive of the second turning motor 43 based on the second motor driving current value; and a gain setting section 64 and multipliers 65, 66 which compensate the first motor driving current value to be smaller and the second motor driving current value to be larger as the vehicle speed is smaller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
