摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure monitoring device for reducing a burden on a patient due to frequent activation of a noninvasive blood pressure measuring means in the blood pressure monitoring device which uses both a pulse wave propagation time measuring means and the noninvasive blood pressure measuring means and activates blood pressure measurement by the noninvasive blood pressure measuring means when an estimated (converted) blood pressure value based on pulse wave propagation time exceeds a preset determination reference value. <P>SOLUTION: The biological information monitor provided with the pulse wave propagation time measuring means and the noninvasive blood pressure measuring means includes: a converted blood pressure acquisition means for obtaining the converted blood pressure value of the patient based on a pulse wave propagation time of the patient measured by the pulse wave propagation time measuring means; a threshold value setting means for setting a threshold value as an activating condition for the noninvasive blood pressure measuring means; and an activation determination part of the noninvasive blood pressure measurement. The biological information monitor measures a blood pressure of the patient by activating the noninvasive blood pressure measuring means at least either at predetermined time intervals or by operation by an operator, and also measures a blood pressure of the patient by activating the noninvasive blood pressure measuring means when the converted blood pressure value exceeds the threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
