<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker desiredly preheating an object to be heated and being hardly influenced by the shape of the object even for detecting the temperature of the object with heat conducted to a top plate. <P>SOLUTION: The heating cooker includes a heating coil 8 driven by the first heating power and then driven by the second heating power smaller than the first heating power or stopping the drive.
