PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow package which forms a large opening whose appearance is improved for easily taking out an item packaged in opening. SOLUTION: This packaging material is made of a resin film. Both ends in one direction of the material are sealed mutually in a condition where they are folded in one direction and form a palm joint frame seal part. Mutually superimposing parts of both ends of the material in the other direction to be on both sides of an item packaged are sealed for forming a pair of sealed parts. On both sides of the palm joint frame seal part, a pair of the first auxiliary lines for cutting extending in the other direction with a certain interval relative to the palm joint frame seal part are formed and a pair of the second auxiliary lines for cutting extending toward each of the first auxiliary lines from the palm joint frame seal part are formed. One end of the second auxiliary lines is formed to mutually meet on the palm joint frame seal part and the other end of the same is formed not contact the first auxiliary lines.
