SOLUTION: This production method includes adding aluminum oxide particles (alumina particles) into the magnesium-containing molten aluminum alloy, and reacting the aluminum oxide particle with magnesium in the aluminum alloy so as to adjust the magnesium content or disperse composite particles of aluminum magnesium oxide (spinel) and aluminum oxide in the melt.
