PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing agent for an epoxy resin, which provides an epoxy resin with latency as a curing agent when mixed with the epoxy resin, an epoxy resin composition comprising the curing agent for an epoxy resin and an epoxy resin and an epoxy resin cured product obtained from the epoxy resin composition. SOLUTION: The curing agent for an epoxy resin is obtained by a reaction between a polymer (A) containing a carboxy group-containing monovinyl monomer (a) unit, a self-crosslinkable monomer (b) unit and another monovinyl monomer (c) unit and an imidazole compound (B).
