PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit an operator to perform a hand-push operation in a comfortable position, whether in the case of travel using a front wheel and rear wheels or travel using only the front wheel. SOLUTION: This hand-push type conveying vehicle 1 includes a dolly frame 3 for placing an object to be conveyed, the front wheel 4 for supporting a front side of the dolly frame 3, props 5 for supporting a rear side of the dolly frame 3, and handle parts 6 which are to be used for hand-pushing purposes, are installed on the rear side of the dolly frame 3 and are extended approximately rear obliquely upward. The handle parts 6 are turnably pivoted to the dolly frame 3 by means of handle turning shafts 9, and are configured in such a way that if grip sides are turned upward, then rear wheels 8 rotate downward, resulting in a rear-wheel-in contact-with-ground state S1 where instead of the props 5, the rear wheels 8 are in contact with the ground, and that if the grip sides are turned downward, then rear wheels 8 turn upward, resulting in a rear-wheel-retracted state S2 where the props 5 are in contact with the ground and the rear wheels 8 are not in contact thereof.
