PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable cutting tool that can efficiently collect dust produced in operation even with a kerf present therein, that can collect dust without impairing cutting operability, and that can be used in a job site having no power source. SOLUTION: The portable cutting tool 1 is equipped with a dust collecting structure 10 for collecting dust produced by a rotary blade 9 which is installed in the drive shaft 6 of a driving turbine 5 rotating by air of an air supply hose Ah connected to the body 2. The dust collecting structure includes: a circular arcuate protective cover 11 that is installed in a manner exposing a prescribed circular arc range of the rotary blade; a dust collecting part 14 installed on one end side of the circular arcuate shape of the protective cover; and an air branching hose 20 that is branched from the flow passage of the supplied air and connected to the dust collecting part. The dust collecting part is configured to have: a cylindrical body 15 having an opening groove 15a formed in an opposing position between the left and right sides of the protective cover; a first air blowing part 16 for blowing off air from one end opening 15c side of the cylindrical body; and a second air blowing part 17 for blowing off air from the other end opening 15e side of the cylindrical body.
