PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidification device capable of suppressing scattering of water drops to the external of a water storage tank. SOLUTION: When air permeability of a filter 2 is degraded because the water stored in a water tank body 5 is absorbed by the filter 2, and scale precipitating from the absorbed water, attaches to the filter 2, the wind which should pass through the filter 2, bypasses a water tank body 5 side without passing through the filter 2 as shown by an arrow A2. But as a water surface is covered by a covering member 6 inside of the water tank body 5 as shown in Fig.2(a), the water surface does not wave, and water drops are not raised from the water surface even when wind is blown to the water tank body 5. Accordingly, the scattering of the water drops from the water surface and the movement of the scattering water drops to the external of the water storage tank 41 cannot be found.
