LANCET PUNCTURE DEVICE

Disclosed is a lancet puncture device comprising a lancet, an ejector spring and a lancet holder for housing the lancet and the ejector spring. The lancet in the lancet puncture device comprises a lancet body, a lancet cap and a puncture needle which extends across the lancet body and the lancet cap and is present therein. The ejector spring is attached to the lancet body, and the lancet body is latched to the lancet holder before a puncture is made, in such a way that the ejector spring remains compressed. When the lancet cap is removed, the lancet body is able to flex when external pressure is applied thereto, and as a result the latching of the lancet body is released.
