<p>A control system for a daytime running light and a control method thereof are provided. Said control system comprises a body control module (1) and daytime running lights (2). Said body control module (1) is used to receive or determine the operating signal of an engine (7), the signal of an electronic parking (5) and/or the gear position signal of an automatic transmission (6), and the operating status of headlights (3, 4) so as to drive and control the daytime running lights (2). Said control system distinguishes the control logic for daytime running lights of a manual shift vehicle from that of an automatic shift vehicle, takes customer's preferences fully into account, and utilizes the body control module (1) to drive and control the daytime running lights (2) without an additional control module. Signal transmission can be achieved via CAN network, thereby ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the signal transmission. A control circuit comprises a diagnostic function and can monitor the operating status of the daytime running lights (2) in real time.</p> |
