<p>A resilient adapter (11,27) is arranged for detachable being mounted on a circumferential bead (4,26) on top of a beverage can (1,25). The adapter comprises a disc-formed base (12,28), which in mounted state is extending across said bead, a spout (13,29) rising from the base, and an annular flange (14,30) descending from the base and surrounding the bead. At least one circumferential rib ( 16, 17; 41, 43 ), which is formed on the inner side of the flange, has a smaller diameter than the outer diameter of the bead in the tension-free condition of the adapter, and at least one lever arm (23,42) is moreover protruding from the adapter. The adapter is furnished with a spout for pouring the beverage and with a cap for closing the spout. The adapter secures in its closed position remaining beverage in the can against going flat and to be contaminated.</p> |
