<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with greatly enhanced suction efficiency by surely removing dust attached to a prefilter, and preventing displacement of a net of the prefilter. <P>SOLUTION: The prefilter 20 mounted to a mounting frame 12 mounted to the front face opening of a body casing 2, and a dust removing motor 17 driving an electric fan 8 and the prefilter 20 are provided in a duct of the body casing 2 having a duct introducing outside air sucked from an air sucking port into an air blow-out port. An automatic cleaning device 30 removing dust attached to the prefilter 20 is provided on the front side of the prefilter 20.
