PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of braking feeling in a fail-safe condition and the deterioration of controllability of the vehicle posture. SOLUTION: A brake control device includes: a plurality of piping systems generating fluid pressure in wheel cylinders by feeding brake fluid; and a control section controlling the brake fluid feed to the wheel cylinders through a plurality of piping systems. The plurality of piping systems are independent from one another with regard to brake fluid flowing in each system. In case an abnormality occurs in the piping system, if the fluid pressure in the wheel cylinder is more than the target fluid pressure, the control section stops the control of the abnormal piping system, and, if the fluid pressure in the wheel cylinder is less than the target fluid pressure, the control section continues the control of the abnormal piping system.
