PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor unit capable of suppressing inflow of resin to the inside by reducing the clearance of a fitting part of a casing. SOLUTION: A gas sensor unit 1 includes a sensor part 9 having a circuit board 3 and a gas sensor element, and a casing 19. The casing has a first casing part 23 made of a resin and having an opening 35, and a second casing part 21 made of a resin, fitted into the first casing part and having a seal side face 21a, in contact with an inner peripheral surface 35a of the opening part. The outside of a fitting part F of each casing part constitutes a groove part 50, enclosed by a step part 39 formed on the fringe of the second casing and the inner peripheral surface of the opening part, and a cured object 6 of a resin is filled in the groove part. A first tapered surface 35a is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the opening part, and a second tapered surface 21a is formed on the seal-side face, and a relation between a first taper angle T1on the opposite side to the groove part of the first tapered surface and a second tapered angle T2on the groove part side of the second tapered surface satisfies the inequality: T1≥T2, and each tapered surface makes a contact with each other.
