PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust system preventing emission of exhaust gas from an exhaust pipe to the atmosphere without degrading productivity of the exhaust pipe, to provide a saddle type vehicle having the same, and to provide a method of manufacturing and mounting the exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: The exhaust pipe 11 constituting the exhaust system includes an outer pipe 35 and an inner pipe 37. A first through-hole B1 and a second through-hole B2 in which an exhaust gas detection part is inserted are respectively formed to the outer pipe 35 and the inner pipe 37, and a third through-hole B3 is formed at a position different from that of the first through-hole B1 out of a peripheral face of the outer pipe 35. Since the third through-hole B3 is formed to the outer pipe 35, liquid is drained quickly from a space A between the outer pipe 35 and the inner pipe 37.
