PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of improving humidifying performance by properly bringing a humidification filter stored and held inside of a holding frame into contact with ventilating air. SOLUTION: The disc-shaped holding frame 30 for storing and holding the humidification filter is supported by three rollers (driving gear 51 and supporting rollers 6, 6) rotated while kept into contact therewith at different positions on an outer peripheral face, and the rotation of the driving gear 51 is transmitted to a ring gear section 32 of an outer periphery of the holding frame 30 to rotate the holding frame 30. A ventilation opening is formed on a front section (and rear section) of the holding frame 30 roughly over the whole face excluding a circular supporting ring 33 and a plurality of supporting ribs 34, 34.
